How to pronounce ED endings in English In this video we look at the 3 ways of pronouncing -ED at the end of words in English which are :

/id/ - /t/ - /d/.

Remember, these rules are not only for regular verbs in the PAST TENSE (which end in ED) but also for regular PAST PARTICIPLES and ADJECTIVES that end in ED.

It is important to put the article A or AN before the profession when we are talking about one person.

To be + a/an + profession

If there is more than one person, we do not use A or An.

-We are teachers.   -They are students.   - Jack and Jill are engineers.
